We all remember the controversy of The Great British Bake Off was to leave the BBC and move to channel 4. Britain was not happy! Paul Hollywood’s new partner in crime, Prue Leith, had the unenviable task of filling Mary Berry’s shoes. Mary was considered by many to be a bit of a national treasure and irreplaceable. Prue, along with Noel Feilding and Sandi Toksvig have made the transition seamless.
Southsea based illustrator Angela Chick has produced a range of tees and a mug paying tribute to Prue and her positive vibes.

Angela describes, “I’m a big fan of Bake Off – it blows my mind what is possible in the world of baking. When I was tuned in one evening, Prue came out with the best motivational quote for the bakers and I happened to be drawing at the time so I jotted it down. She said, “There is a lot to do, keep calm and keep going.” It reminded me of the great motivational quotes you see everywhere these days. Being a big fan of all things positive I thought I’d make a play on the words ‘The Power of Positivity’ and create ‘The Prue of Positivity’.”
Don’t hang around if you would like to get your hands on one of these. They are available for pre-order only and will not be returning. If you think that this would make a great Christmas present (and it will) then make sure that you place your order by the October 25th deadline!
