LIMITED EDITION OF BEAUTIFUL WOODCUT PRINTS DEPICTING LANDSCAPE REFLECTIONS
We’re huge fans of Portsmouth artist and Hotwalls Studios resident Sadie Tierney, going all the way back to our 2011 Created Local feature (with her awesome author husband Neil Layton). The vibrant clash of colour and the playful, minimalist expressionism feel like a sugar-rushed childhood memory that somehow lingers like a closed eye hallucination. Sadie’s most recent work is a series of new handmade prints that are available at the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair. The work offers roads leading the eye in to the twilight, calming glimpses of still lakes & boats drifting on reflected neon colour from mountain peaks.
Each print is from a woodblock relief and a limited edition of only 15. You can view all of the prints HERE on the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair website where you can buy them online, including via the Own Art interest free instalment scheme.
