Tom Odell is back with the announcement of his third studio album Jubilee Road, set for release on 12th October 2018 followed by a UK tour. We’re treated to two shows in the south, including The Brighton Centre and Southampton Guildhall.

His first album Long Way Down was released back in 2013 which reached number 1 in the UK album charts. Tom’s follow up album Wrong Crowd was released in 2016. He was the first male to win the Critics Choice award at The Brits in 2013, as well as winning Songwriter of the year at the Ivor Novello Awards in 2014.

Tom’s first release in 2 years comes in the form of new single ‘If You Wanna Love Somebody’ released in June, which he performed on the BBC’s legendary Graham Norton Show. This track is a perfect follow up to his previous two exceptional albums. His second single which was released in July is the title track on the album ‘Jubilee Road’.

When talking about the writing process of the album tom says, ‘I wrote this album in my house on a quiet terraced street in East London. The Lyrics are inspired by the lives of the friends I made whilst living there. I recorded most of the songs in the living room of the house and if I listen back closely I can still hear the sound of the old mans television shows coming through the walls from next door, the kids from the house opposite playing football in the street below and the sound of my girlfriends footsteps on the wooden floorboards above’.

You can pre-order the album and grab tickets to the tour now via his website which is linked below.
