In addition to the big names already announced for Victorious they have announced this morning that Olly Murs, Rita Ora and The Charlatans will also be playing over the weekend.
Having finished runner-up in the sixth series of The X Factor, Olly Murs was propelled to heights of pop stardom and into the nation’s hearts with a string of hit singles and a double platinum selling debut album. Joining Olly at the top of the bill is MOBO winning R&B singer Rita Ora. From coaching on The Voice UK to judging on The X Factor to acting in Hollywood movies not to mention a number one album, Rita has found time in her hectic schedule to bring her trademark R&B party to the main stage at Victorious.
Joining Madness on the all-new Friday night Opening Party is Mancunian powerhouse The Charlatans. With almost 30 years at the forefront of indie rock and 12 studio albums into a remarkable career, their set will be packed with stand up hits and the hope of some new material.
The above trio is clearly the biggest names in the latest announcement but for me, the real talent and real excitement come with the announcement of Frank Turner, my heroes British Sea Power, BBC Music Sound Of…. Finalist Raye, synthpop artist Rationale, Echobelly, indie rockers Toy, Banfi, Lily Rendle-Moore and up-coming British singer/songwriter Leo Stannard.

This year there is also an option to camp off site on Portsdown Hill. The relaxed family friendly site within the grounds of Fort Widley will be open to campers from Friday 25th until Monday 28th August. Campers will be offered a free shuttle bus service between the campsite and the festival site.
