We’ve featured the artwork and the exhibitions of local artist Dave Thompson many times over the years so it is exciting to see his exclusive new work commissioned by Portsmouth City Council. The new artwork in his signature illustrative style looks west along the Southsea shore from the Southsea Castle lighthouse down to the Round Tower and beyond to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, with the Spinnaker Tower watching over a HMS Warrior, a Type 45 and the Land Rover Ben Ainsley Racing team out on the water.

The print is official merchandise of the city and comes as a print as well as on mugs, keyrings, tea towels, cards, coasters and more. Head to the Waterfront Gifts shops in Southsea Library, Portsmouth City Museum and Southsea Castle to see the collection.
