Making Space in Leigh Park/Havant is a community-based craft organisation that creates opportunities for people to discover and develop design and making skills, increasing personal wellbeing through involvement in high-quality craft. Making Space has two working studios (one ceramic/mixed use and the other for jewellery) and then around the sunny courtyard seven individual makers studios. A studio is now available to rent (rent is only £200pcm, £210pcm from April 2017) and comes with free parking, 24/7 access and all utilities.
The current tenants are a mix of graphic design, photography, ceramics and much more and there is a real sense of creative community.
