I’m fully loving this series of re-imaginations of the pier by local artist and graphic designer Jon Everitt. Each piece representing our local landmark in the unmistakable style of master artists such as; Salvador Dali, David Hockney, Katsushika Hokusai, Roy Lichenstein, Edvard Munch and Andy Warhol. The work has been created in partnership with the South Parade Trust, who are campaigning tirelessly in order to secure Hampshire’s last remaining Victorian pier for future generations to enjoy. These excellent designs can be bought as singular prints, or compiled into a calendar, from the following outlets. So this Christmas bag yourself a decent present and help the trust raise much needed funds.
The Great Wave Off Kanagawa / Southsea for me please.
