News: Fitness Festival 2017

Saturday 3rd June on Castle Field, Southsea

Returning to Southsea Common this June is the third annual Fitness Festival. The free event is organised by Luke and Tina Newton who are also behind SWEAT Southsea. You can expect an exciting line – up of special guests, exhibitors and classes already announced. The focal point will be the main stage which will feature classes running all day, a healthy Food Zone, a Guest Zone with Q&A sessions and much more for all the family.

Special guests already announced include Portsmouth’s very own Olympian Katy Sexton MBE, Paratriathlete and Rio 2016 silver medallist Lauren Steadman, Bear Grylls’ Personal Trainer and University of Portsmouth graduate Natalie Summers, another UOP graduate in fitness blogger and influencer Hannah & Fitness and ‘fitness foodie’ and blogger Hannah Eats. With even more guest names and collaborators set to be announced in the coming weeks and the Fitness Festival’s profile rising, the event is not to be missed!

On stage classes include Nuffield Health’s BodyJam and Natalie Summers with a workout straight from her book with Bear Grylls, ‘Your Life – Train for it’. Other collaborators already confirmed include Portsmouth Yoga, Up and Running Sports Injury Clinic, Southsea’s running specialists Absolute Running, Canoe Lake Leisure and the LTA with pop – up tennis, event specialist Believe and Achieve and food stalls including The Wholesome Foodie and Riverford!
