Things have been moving along swiftly with Strong Island Recordings since the launch of the music label at Southsea Fest with the Drunken Sailor Stage. The label is currently working on upcoming releases with local band Is Bliss and Hull based band Honeycomb Bones plus is in final negotiations with three more bands, which will complete a release schedule that will cover the next four months or so. We’ll be posting up a load of photos from Drunken Sailor on Strong Island later this afternoon and are working on a short film of the day plus some live performance videos by the bands who performed, those will be along soon.

Today the new Strong Island Recordings holding website went live. Strong Island Media are currently working on a full website and this new website will be live until the full website goes online soon. It isn’t currently mobile enabled. You can view the website at:
