In these sombre times, London-based Los Bitchos offer the perfect form of escapism within their fun-fuelled, sun-soaked realm with their danceable cumbia psych sounds perfect for sipping cocktails on a late summer evening.
Following from their debut single ‘Tripping Party,’ the trio are now unleashing a total rework of fuzz-fiend royalty King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard’s ‘Trapdoor’ adding their own own take of the psychedelic-folk jam by dowsing it with their exotic excellence of searing-psychedelic-latin rock.
Describing themselves as “The Shadows on a Tequila-fuelled field trip to South America”, the trio made up of Serra (guitar), Carolina (guitar) and Agustina (keys), initially started off as a recording project in late 2017 after consuming a heavy diet of Peruvian instrumental Cumbia and have already found themselves supporting The Parrots, Toy and Kikagaku Moyo across the capital.
Sunshine, whiskey, tequila and fun-times is the order of the day with Los Bitchos. You can catch Los Bitchos celebrating the release of their new single down on the sunny south-coast in Portsmouth at Acapulco Bar this Friday night.
‘The exciting London-based trio are creating a Latin American dance-oriented sound indebted to summertime frolics and excessive tequila consumption.” Line of Best Fit
