Cyanotype Printing Workshop at Aspex Gallery

Cyanotype Printing Workshop at Aspex Gallery

Inspired by Aspex Gallery‘s main space exhibition ‘Everything Comes from the Egg‘ by Stephen Turner, this workshop on July 2nd will explore the traditional technique of UV/Sun printing, used to create the famous Prussian blue prints. This hands-on session is suitable for all levels that have an interest in photographic and printmaking techniques, or anyone that would like to learn a new skill.

From mixing the chemistry to drying the prints, this workshop will guide you step-by-step through the cyanotype process. You will get the chance to make a few cyanotypes on the day and as part of the workshop, you will leave with some unexposed cyanotype paper to take home and create further prints. All materials will be provided, alongside tea and coffee. You are welcome to bring lunch or purchase from the cafe, Lily & Lime LD.
