PORTSMOUTH ROLLER WENCHES B vs BRIGHTON ROCKERBILLIES

Saturday saw Havant Leisure Centre host the Portsmouth Roller Wenches A and B sides in a south coast derby against Brighton Rockers and Rockerbillies respectively. In game one Brighton Rockers came out on top with a comfortable 153-265 victory. The B side’s bout against the Rockerbillies was a closely fought affair, the Rockerbillies took the game 210-221.

The Wench A side saw a great team effort but unfortunately penalty trouble cost them. When it was all said and done the other team awarded the following: A-team Best Jammer went to Pysclone Destroy-Her, A-team Best Blocker went to T-Wrecks, A-team MVP (most valuable player) went to Nina Nunchucks.

The B-team put on an excellent performance. They had control and they came together brilliantly considering it was a lot of the roster’s first open-door game. The awards: B-team Best Jammer went to Berry Naughty, B-team Best Blocker went to Smash Hips, and B-team MVP for the first time went to Bux Capacitor.
