News: Bestival Announces Second Wave of Acts

Bestival | Thurs 7th to Sun 10th September | Lulworth Castle, Dorset

For the first time in Bestival’s history, they announced all four headliners in their first wave of announcements. Topping the bill so far is The xx, A Tribe Called Quest, Pet Shop Boys and Jamie T plus Justice, Dizzee Rascal, DJ Shadow, Little Dragon. In addition this morning they have announced more acts which include Wiley, Blossoms, Roots Manuva, Twin Atlantic, Fatman Scoop and many more which can be found below. With Craig David leading the garage revival it appears to be here to stay and in celebration Bestival will be holding a plus a Garage Pool Party with Heartless Crew, DJ Luck & MC Neat, and Oxide & Neutrino.

“Bestival’s formula is pretty simple – we like you guys having fun, exploring new ideas and listening to amazing bands and DJs in a massive field or forest or both at the same time whilst dressed as a multi-coloured gherkin. If you like the sound of that you’re on board already, but if you need any more persuasion, we are proud to announce some mega new acts for Besti, repping the best in grime with Wiley, AJ Tracey and 67, through indie and rock with Blossoms and Twin Atlantic, all topped off with some good old fashioned rave with DJs from Heidi to Bjarki, Monki to the Ragga Twins and a massive garage takeover.” Rob da Bank

Tickets are available now from www.bestival.ticketline.co.uk at a price of £181 or you still have time to get involved in the payment plan where you can spread the cost out over the next 19 weeks.
