Creative Skills Tutor (Film & TV) – Salary Range £29,301 to £32,958 pa

The University of Portsmouth wishes to appoint a Creative Skills Tutor to support learning and teaching in the creative and cultural industries curricula. The focus of the role will be to undertake the design, preparation, delivery, administration and management of skills workshops, master classes, vendor software qualifications and continuing professional development opportunities. The successful candidate will have a wide range of skills and experience in areas such as film, television, video-editing, animation and modelling, post-production, and television studio set-up.

You will need to possess excellent analytical and IT skills, be self-motivated and sympathetic in order to communicate effectively with colleagues and students. The desire to help students achieve their full potential is essential, as are exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Position is fixed term contract for 3 years.
