Local photographer Paul Watt (working under the title Simpler Life) has his first solo photography exhibition opening on the 6th of August at South Scene Cafe on Albert Road. We’ve been following Paul’s awesome work for quite a while, he first caught our eye with his daytime monochromatic long-exposures of Portsmouth and Southsea locations. These atmospheric images really represent the city with a fresh eye (and an early alarm, as Paul often gets up before dawn to catch that special morning light).
There will be lots of work on display and prints available to buy, with 40% of the price of each print to be donated to a local charity Paul supports, Headway brain injury charity. Headway are a national charity with branches all over the UK and Paul volunteers for the Portsmouth branch, located at the Mountbatten Centre.
