Becky Jerams is a singer/songwriter from Portsmouth who writes and performs in many different styles from upbeat pop to country-tinged acoustic numbers.

Influenced by artists such as Alanis Morisette, Tori Amos, Taylor Swift and Ingrid Michaelson, Becky’s tracks place strong emphasis on emotive, story-telling lyrics and unusual hooky melodies. Her tracks have been used in adverts and shows around the globe including the hit US show The Carrie Diaries and the trailer for Mandy Moore film ‘Love Wedding Marriage’.

Becky has also written and recorded a duet with pop star Chesney Hawkes and performs live acoustic shows on a regular basis, as well as writing songs to pitch out for other artists.

Becky will be joined for the evening by local singer/songwriter, Chris Ricketts at The King Street Tavern tonight at 7:30pm.
