Regional artists and designer-makers will exhibit and sell their work to the public on this weekend on the 9th and 10th of August. After the success of the inaugural event back in February, Aspex will once again be handing over its main exhibition space to showcase some of the very best contemporary craft in the region.
A full list of the exhibitors selected by aspex is now available, and features some of the very best contemporary craft in the region, across a range of artistic media, including jewellery, ceramics, printmaking, glass, textiles, amidst others.
Aspex Venue Co-ordinator, Julia de Klerk, said: “The team at aspex were really excited by the response we have had to our second Contemporary Makers Fair, which demonstrates the wealth of talent in the region. Events like this allow our audience to interact directly makers and artists, revealing the creative process and providing a valuable opportunity to sell direct to the public”
The Contemporary Makers Fair will be open from 11-5 each day, admission is free.
