Portsmouth City Council have launched their new website this week – www.portsmouth.gov.uk. I really like it and think the Council should be commended on achieving a clear layout which should be easy for everyone to use and find their way around.
With the grey background I wonder whether it is too simple and boarding on dull? We have a beautiful city and maybe we could do with selling that a bit more.

I like it, it is clear on a phone or tablet, which is how I often use it. As long as would-be tourists end up being directed via search engine terms to the visitportmouth.co.uk site, I can live with a plain “working” site for PCC. This is such a huge improvement on the old one, and many other civic websites, that I think they deserve a lot of praise for it.
