From the beginning of May, Watkins & Faux will be running The Pavilion Cafe at Southsea Tennis Club on Southsea Common. Watkins & Faux are regulars at Hampshire Farmers Markets in Southsea, Winchester and occasionally Petersfield and Arlesford and will be providing a whole new range of handmade food from local, natural and seasonal ingredients and some Hampshire sourced coffee too.

Recently visited the Pavillon Cafe with my girlfriends for lunch.The food was ok but what caught our attention was the really rude female owner.We coudnt believe that someone could be so blatantly rude to the customers that pay her wages.She was overly fake and didnt seem warm and hospitable.Another dampener seemed the entry-of dogs near food which was uncovered.The staff were polite and were probably the only welcoming faces in there.The sandwiches we ordered were ok but the home made bread was disgusting and very dense.They should try hovis which seems lighter and fresher.Overall experience was disappointing and we would definitely not recommend the pavilion cafe to people we care about!
