Portsmouth based artist and illustrator RJ James aka freakSTATIC has recently broken many taboos by producing ‘Nervous Comics’. As a sufferer from mental illness since my teens and in recent times crippling anxiety I can only describe the comic as  a relief.

I feel empowered reading it that I am not alone, weird or in some way broken. I think ‘Nervous Comics’ will help so many people and they will be able to identify with the situations and feelings it illustrates. The web comics creator declares:

I hope to raise awareness of Anxiety and related issues by producing some relevant material on the subject of Anxiety that both sufferers and anyone in a supportive position can relate to.
