Southampton’s Dead Rabbits will be on the Strong Island/Strong Island Recordings Drunken Sailor stage at around 2:30pm with their warm, hazy lofi sound reminiscent of early Jesus & Mary Chain playing through an old tape walkman on a summer’s camping trip with teenage friends. No idea if the band name is related to the late 80s skateboard ramp near Southampton but this band is sure to be a personal highlight of the whole Southsea Fest. Can’t wait.
