The council have been working hard on increasing the city’s profile in recent weeks and months with the new Visit Portsmouth website, launch of a new app (find out more about the free app HERE), wide distribution of tourist guides across the city of London and the UK, a new tourist film on their new YouTube channel plus a new set of posters for the London tube. The posters are located in underground stations that are near the Olympic venues, with the two types shown in the below images (supplied by PCC).
It’s obviously difficult to define a city in a single image but for many locals at least, a sunny afternoon at The Point is pretty amazing. What do you think of the posters? What places, people & events might you do try and capture in a poster like this?
A better effort than the ones a few years back, comparing Pompey to Malta.
Not bad, I like them!

I quite like them. Although all I want to do now is go spend the day at the camber…
I really like them!
I often visit Portsmouth and enjoy visiting the bars in Old Portsouth, and always enjoy the views you get from the Spice Island pub.
