I think Strong Island is a great platform for promoting southsea and portsmouth in an original modern and appealing way. I wonder if it’s possible to expand on this to try and draw more people to the city and change the city’s reputation as a vibrant creative cosmopolitan and tolerant place on a larger scale.
I understand this might need funding, but it might be possible to team up on this and maybe try to get the media interested.

The Strong Island website has really helped in finding out about whats going on in Southsea, it’s been ahead of the social media curve compared to official council & tourism sites – and is just a really interesting site – I have found out more about places , newly opened shops / exhibitions , events etc than elsewhere and has become a one stop place to come to for this information.
