Making Space in Leigh Park is having an open studios event on the bank holiday weekend where all the resident artists’ studios will be open to explore and the artists available to talk to. You can also see and buy their recent work too (including jewellery, ceramics, paintings, illustration, glass, photography, etc).

The studios will be open from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 12 noon on Monday. There will also be special events running during the weekend including:

– Saturday 28th, Compulsive Productions will be screening their documentary EXILED and will be leading an animation workshop for children (12-3pm).
– Sunday 29th, award winning creative textile knit designer, Deryn Relph will be in the studios leading a drop in knit workshop.

All welcome and free admission. Making Space Open Studios also forms part of Nine Days Arts Trail, more details on that soon.
