Ian Parmiter, Billy Smith, Stuart Trett and Tim Peters are all going to attempt to cycle from Trafalgar Square, London back to H.M.S Victory in Portsmouth. Approximately 75 miles.
This is to coincide with Trafalgar Day and to raise much needed funds for The Daniel Findlay Appeal. Daniel is a local boy who has Cerebral Palsy and needs to go to America to have a vital operation to enable him to walk and play his beloved basket ball.
This is a Love Albert Road Group iniative helping people in our local community. Please give generously. Donations can be taken into Parmiters and Garbos in Albert Road or Ye Olde Bike Shop in The Coast Guard, Clarendon Road or alternatively you can go online to www.justgiving.com/danielfindlayappeal.
They will be leaving Trafalgar Square on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 5:00am.
They also have a Facebook Page.
