This Saturday gone saw the completion of Borneos vintage Major Nicols bike. It was originally supposed to be his Raleigh project that was built up first, but time issues meant he had to pull it out of the hat and make sure he had a full restoration to present to Claire for the latest Love Your Bike window display at Bellamys Antiques. We followed the morning up very well by heading to Chris’s and getting involved in another build for Andy. 8 or so hours later and a few beers and some excellent barbecue food the Ellis Briggs bike was finished (pretty much). Chris brought his strong bag of technical tricks to the table in order to put this bike together. Chris really knows his stuff.
