Making Waves Film Festival Short Film Competition Deadline Extended

A FILM FESTIVAL FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT WATCHING CINEMA, FILMMAKING, AND CREATIVITY IN PORTSMOUTH AND THE SOLENT REGION

Making Waves Film Festival is Portsmouth’s annual film festival and short film competition celebrating innovative and bold filmmaking that inspires audiences. Now in their 9th edition, they aim to continue developing local creative talent and new filmmakers whilst building national and international links as we work towards their 10th anniversary in 2022.

We have featured their short film competition for many years and despite how difficult 2020 has been, people have still been safely creative with film during these complex times. The short film competition submission deadline has now been extended through to the 31st of January 2021, with the festival event now to be held on 15th to 17th April 2021.
