Making Waves is the annual Portsmouth film festival and this year’s Making Waves awards are to be held at The Wedgewood Rooms on the 27th of November. The event hosted by Trash Arts will initially start with a talk on pitching and film funding from Pitch Beat Course and then a screening of all of the short listed films before the awards are presented to the winners. The films to be shown are for the following categories:

BEST LOCAL FILM (SOUTH,UK)
BEST NATIONAL FILM (UK)
BEST INTERNATIONAL FILM
AUDIENCE CHOICE AWARD (VOTED BY AUDIENCE)

This will be a fantastic evening for any one with passion for film, tickets are only £4 in advance and £5 on the door. Doors open at 7pm, with the talk at 7:15pm followed by the awards from 7:30pm to midnight. To get a ticket in advance online go HERE.
