The Portsmouth Seafood Festival, supported by Portsmouth Fish Market & Seafish returns to Gunwharf Quays this coming June 28/29/30th with a an extra day added after the great success of our 2018 event. This is a FREE event for the whole family.
With mouth watering Seafood from around the world this years event is a real celebration of Seafood, the local fishing community and all associated with it. The main attraction sees Iain R Spinks from Arbroath Smokies in Arbroath Scotland make his first appearance at an English Seafood Festival.
Event Co-Founder John Pryde commented: “We have gone to great lengths to bring a fresh line up of seafood vendors, various styles of cooking and drawing influence from all around the world. We are also delighted to welcome back many of your favourite attractions from 2018 including Pirates Grog Rum, The Fisherman’s Kitchen and Southsea Beach Cafe, whilst also including some amazing new vendors and attractions to really compliment this family festival.”
The scene is certainly set for a great weekend to be enjoyed by all the family.
Alongside amazing seafood vendors and attractions we are also delighted to bring one of Champagnes best grand marques and introduce their English sparkling wine. A beautiful pairing with Seafood for our visitors to taste and experience. We will also have Olli from the Brewhouse & Kitchen on hand to chat to our visitors and offer tasters, all alongside a superb selection of Gins from TrueOrigins and a theatrical Rum experience from Pirates Grog. All of this is wrapped together with our music stage playing live Jazz, Swing & Soul all day. The scene is certainly set for a great weekend to be enjoyed by all the family.
We look forward to seeing you all there.
