The independent café and kitchen Real Eating Company has been part of Gunwharf Quays since June 2017.  Last week they launched their new, fully compostable takeaway cups, complete with a unique limited edition sketch of Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower.

The “I LOVE Gunwharf Quays” takeaway cups are the third in a series that the Real Eating Company has produced to reflect a particular location or landmark, previously featuring Salisbury Cathedral and Bournemouth Beach to reflect two of the other locations where the café group has sites.  Chichester and Horsham will shortly follow. They also see the introduction across the business of takeaway cups where the packaging naturally breaks down to nothing, reducing the amount of plastic that ends up in a landfill.

The Real Eating Company coffee is roasted to order every week by a small independent coffee roastery on the South Coast using 100% Arabica beans and blended to the Real Eating Company’s specification. The limited edition take away cups are available for coffees and from Monday to Friday any takeaway coffee before 12 noon is just £2.00 as part of their ongoing Early Bird promotion aimed at local workers and residents.  The Real Eating Company is also very excited to be partnering with renowned local Portsmouth bakery, Bread Addiction, to sell their famous early morning sticky cinnamon buns!
