After the success of the first ever Strong Island Photography Social we would like to invite you to our follow up event on July 26th. I figured that we should take advantage of this great weather and find a venue with an outdoor space, hopefully this doesn’t jinx it. We will be meeting at The Point, this is the seated area outside of Spice Island from 7:30 pm until closing time.

We had no idea how many people would attend the first event and were over the moon with the turnout. Hopefully many of you will be able to join us again, even if it is just for one.

We recommend people bring their cameras because you can capture some great shots of the Spinnaker Tower and Haslar Marina at dusk. We’ll try and share them on the Strong Island social media accounts the following day. Please note that because this event is outdoors and a public space so we can take no responsibility for your property that is left in a public space, so please take care of your gear!

This isn’t going to be anything formal, just a get-together, to have a beer, to put faces to names and maybe chat about photography if you want. This is an open invitation to everyone with a shared interest in photography, irrespective of ability, experience or equipment.

Please share this event with anyone that you think might be interested. Don’t be shy, the vast majority of people who joined us last time arrived solo but were given a warm welcome be everyone so no one felt out of place.
