Jack House Gallery in Old Portsmouth kicks their exhibition year off with a bang with ‘Small Works’, an exhibition of small but perfectly formed paintings. This group show features the work of some artists new to Jack House Gallery but plus some previous exhibitors making a very welcome return too.
Small really is beautiful and the list of artists taking part in the gallery’s first show for 2017 include Art Space Portsmouth stalwarts Michael Bartlett, Natalie Dowse, Julie Graves, Charlotte Brisland and John Green as well as newcomer to Portsmouth Cathy Lomax. Old friends of the gallery Rachel Levitas, Stephan Geisler, Catherine Barron and Lyndon Hayes also get involved too.
The ‘Small Works’ exhibition opens on Thursday 2nd February from 6pm to 8.30pm and then runs from 3rd February to 4th March 2017. Normal opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday 11am – 5pm. Entry is free.
