A great selection of photos for this week (weeks 21 to 22). With Victorious on at the seafront we had lots of images showing all the different aspects of a festival, from people through to the main stage. This week’s winning image is a daytime long exposure of Southsea beach and South Parade Pier. You see a lot of long exposure photos taken around the city at night, great to see Howard Hurd capturing this popular view in a different way. This photo had a 3 minute shutter speed whilst being taken in daylight.

This weekly winner will now be entered into the finals of the competition which will happen in December where everyone can vote for their favourite weekly winning photos. This image will now become our Strong Island Facebook header image for the next 7(ish) days until next week’s winner.
