Springtide Festival 2015 in Gosport

Springtide Festival in sunny Gosport returns this Saturday (30th May). After last year’s success this growing local festival is back with another great line up including headliners To Kill A King who are set to have an exciting year with recent plays on Radio 1 by Huw Stevens and Fearne Cotton. Supporting acts are gems Racing Glaciers, April Towers, VANT and Movie. All of which are gaining critical acclaim and are hitting festivals up and down the UK.

Springtide Festival also boasts some of the best local talent too with the likes of indie pop trio Damn Beats and acoustic singer songwriters from Winchester Lilo’s Wall. This year, the festival moves to a new venue: Bay House (school and sixth form college), and will feature two stages, the main stage in the old school hall and the other acoustic stage in the garden area surrounded by trees and sea breeze as it is only a stone’s throw from the scenic Stokes Bay.

The all day festival starts at 1pm and continues until 11 pm. As well as music the festival also has a wood stove pizza oven to keep hunger levels down and energy levels up. There’s also a fully stocked bar to make sure your pizza is nicely washed down, and stalls to get a memento of the day.

Nearly 500 people attended last year Springtide hope that this year is just as busy. You can find out more and buy tickets (for only £10) online HERE and find out more about Springtide Festival at their website:
