Friday lunchtime time for a new Strong Island Sounds podcast episode and Charlie is back with episode 10 of Longlive Radio, a round-up of 2013:

“This week I’m providing a personal round-up of 2013, it’s not a ‘best of’ – I’ve left out some of my favourite albums – and it’s not comprehensive. I’ve tried to pick 30 tunes you might not ordinarily hear, either on the radio, or through your own choice. It’s not willfully obscure, but it’s not the beaten path either. So, if you’ve an open mind, dive in and check out tunes from Toro Y Moi, Phoenix, Boards Of Canada, White Denim, Nick Cave and tons more. Please forgive the ramshackle nature of this one, it was recorded in a slightly ‘tired and emotional’ state on New Years day, Happy 2014 everyone, and thanks for sticking with me, I’ve got exciting things planned for Longlive Radio this year, it’s gonna be a good one.”. – Charlie
