As you have most likely noticed, over the last two weeks the team behind Play Up Pompey Music have been putting on loads and loads of live music events at loads of local venues featuring loads of local musical talent with the aim to raise money for the supporters trust and Portsmouth FC. It has been a monumental effort in organising so many events with so many people and covering so many types of music and with the event now over and the money counted they have announced they have raised an incredible £10,000…twice their intended target when they started.

Serious props to everyone involved from Strong Island, an incredible example of a community working together with a common goal (no pun intended. honest).
