It’s going to be quite the weekend over Easter time especially for Portsmouth’s own bass labels Sounds of Sumo operated by Kry Wolf and me and Food Music ran by Kry Wolf and Shadow Child respectively. You can also catch the Strong Island associated producers Kry Wolf and Shadow Child on 1xtra from 16th April on MistaJam’s show every two weeks on rotation.
31st March sees Sounds of Sumo release the ‘Close EP’ from Squarehead as played by B Traits on her BBC 1xtra show and Food Music are set to release the Hannah Wants & Chris Lorenzo ‘Dappy’ the day after on April 1st.
Both labels are doing their best to represent Portsmouth by bringing the best talent in bass music from the U.K and beyond to help put Portsmouth on the map
