As part of the Make! Believe! Make! joint exhibition between Aspex Gallery and Portsmouth City Museum there will be some related events running in the next month or so that aim to bring the artists, their personal work and their artistic mediums to members of the public. The first event will be the Contemporary Ceramics Symposium on the 25th January which will explore the inspiration and driving force behind some of the many inspiring ceramic works of art in the exhibition.

At the symposium artists Judes Crow, Sue Paraskeva, Annette Bugansky and Phil Cuttance will make presentations on their work and practice and will then be followed by a question and answer session chaired by artist and Aspex advisor Jonathan Parsons.

The event runs from 1pm to 4pm at Portsmouth City Museum and is free entry but spaces are limited so book by calling the Museum on 023 9283 4779.
