The bandstand this Saturday (4th August) is host to a free mini music festival with a line up of 5 brilliant south coast bands ranging from indie pop to fuzzy/low fi punk (** This is also a great opportunity to see some of bands who will play at Drunken Sailor, the Strong Island stage at Southsea Fest **). The line up will be:

Battery Hens (Soundcloud / Facebook)
Bad Paws (Facebook)
Boxer (Soundcloud / Facebook)

There is also an aftershow at The Birdcage (Above The Festing – free entry) kicking of at 7.30pm with a line up of:

– Kinky Boot Beasts
– Bittertown Mary’s
– The Planes
– Noise Epic

The Birdcage is a 60 capacity venue and hold and over 18’s license only. Any food/drink you bring to the bandstand please remember to tidy up afterwards. Also please keep in mind that this is a family event.
