PORTSMOUTH & SOUTHSEA'S No.1 for ARTS, CULTURE & LIFESTYLE

England Road

Formed in 2011, England Road are one of the youngest bands currently playing in the south coast. At 14-17 years old they have musical ability well beyond their years. You can definitely hear the boys are influenced by the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian and classic bands like The Who.

England Road are James Allen (drums), Kieran Hall (guitar), Toby Hornby-Patterson (bass) and Steve Silk (guitar and vocals).

England Road have performed locally in the RMA Tavern, the Wedgewood Rooms, Eastney Cellars, The Bandstand, Victorious Vintage and Portsmouth Guildhall when they got to the Southern England Area final of Live and Unsigned and were voted into the top 5.

You can see the band at Butserfest 2012 on Saturday 15th September and The Tonic Music Festival which we featured here on Strong Island last week.

You can find out more information about England Road on their website, Facebook and YouTube channel.
