Portsmouth City Museum is hoping to raise money to buy for the city’s collection a watercolour by Thomas Rowlandson, showing the Portsmouth stage coach coming over Portsdown Hill towards the city. Every pound they receive will bring it one step closer to the city for everyone to enjoy. Any money raised over the sum will fund the existing collections in Portsmouth City Museums.
