The Somerstown Community Hub will be an iconic building, spanning Winston Churchill Avenue, and housing brand new community, youth and health facilities, relocated from failing structures at Southsea Community Centre, in Kings Street, the Brook Club, in Sackville Street, and Somerstown Health Centre.
Work on the hub is expected to start in July 2012 and to be completed in December 2013. Portsmouth City Council recognise that they need your support to ensure they develop Somerstown to meet the needs of you, the residents.

The new facilities to be located in the Hub are:
Community Centre – offering state of the art facilities to support educational, social, sport and leisure activities for local people of all ages.
Health Centre – Housing two state of the art GP’s surgeries and community dental practice for specialist referrals.
Youth Centre – With top range education and sports facilities for local youngsters.
Multi-purpose all weather sports pitch/ball park – Giving local young people a place to play.
Area Housing Office – Helping tenants with maintenance issues, rents and payments.

Hello, to whom it may concern.
My name is Heidi Wood, I represent Chatterbox LGBT Group of Fareham, Gosport and Portsmouth, I have been trying to speak to some one on 07879486738, but to no avail, it just goes straight to voicemail, I am hoping to come to the Community Hub, with some one else from the group in the near future, to ask about what the cost of any meeting, computer etc facilities would be, what you have there, and could the group use your resources.
