Artists’ group Crafts in the Tower will be returning to their regular exhibition space in the  Square Tower in Old Portsmouth on Sunday 19^th March from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  After a break of two months they are back with a new image and all the favourite artists. There will be three ceramicists, two painters and two creators in wood: Jim Steele with handmade pens and Terry Turner with a huge variety of lovely and useful items. Kelly Hickman will be showing her gilded work and Sue Meredith her collaged prints of Portsmouth scenes. Cecilia Windebank and Lesley George work in textiles with interestingly different results. Relatively new to the group is Erin Wright who makes distinctive decorative clocks.

Kendal James will also be holding a hama bead workshop on the upper floor: there’s no need to book, just come along.

Crafts in the Tower artists are local and their work totally original. They invite everyone to come to see their new work and chat to the makers about what they do. Admission is free and there will be food and drink for sale in the Vintage Tea Room.
