Saturday’s Strong Island Photography Walkshop at Southsea Castle went well and was busy with over a dozen photographers coming along to improve their photo skills and explore this historic landmark both above and below ground. For the first hour we looked at different composition techniques and using aperture to control depth of field. For the second hour we explored the tunnels under the castle and experimented with shutter speed and trying out lightpainting. A big thank you to everyone who came along and the staff at the castle for being great hosts!

Our last summer photography walkshop will be on Saturday the 19th of September and we’ll be starting off at the Rose Gardens then moving to Canoe Lake and then on to the beach and Southsea Parade Pier.
