Made With Hartt has relaunched at 80 Elm Grove, Southsea! The previous store was based in Cascades Shopping Centre and won the Portsmouth Venus Green Business Award. The volunteer run store raises awareness and provides funds for the local youth volunteer charity Community Fusion.
The shop stocks items from a range of local creatives who have kindly donated from their profits to the cause. The focus is on reworked/upcycling/recycling from the local area.
The shop will be running art/craft/design workshops, birthday parties and other private bookings.
The shop launched on Monday by CEO/Co-Founder Jenna Boyson who wore Dumpster Design dress made from Lotto tickets. Jenna describes “I’m truly blessed and so grateful to have had all this support! I had so many volunteers on our big build pulling together for long hours. I wore an amazing dress and really excited about our future with Dumpster Design. I hope the shop is a success and that the team continue to be inspired.”
They are currently recruiting volunteers and crafty folk wanting to run workshops. For more details on the charity and the shop check out their website www.community-fusion.org. You can also find them on Facebook and Twitter @CommunityFusion.
