If you’re not aware PURE (formerly Uropa/Route66) is closing for a refub and will relaunch on 12th September as The Astoria.

This will be a total refurbishment and restoration. Parts of the building haven’t been touched since the day the Old Palace cinema became a night club. Little is known about the exact plans but they are believed to be pretty spectacular and will make it the best club to have ever been on that site.

One of Portsmouth’s favourite club nights ‘Delight’ will continue on monday nights in the Lyberry, Guildhall Walk. This will be until the launch in September. For more information about Delight you can visit their Facebook page HERE.
