A key event in the amazing Portsmouth Festivities line-up for this year is the Spice Island Arts Trail that happens this Sunday (23rd) in Old Portsmouth. The arts trail takes in five different venues over Old Portsmouth including the Square Tower, The Royal Naval Club & Royal Albert Club, Portsmouth Grammar School, Portsmouth Cathedral and the Round Tower and each will be host to a huge variety of art by local artists. The first stop is at The Square Tower where you can pick up your arts trail map and visit the craft faire and cafe. From there you can visit the Royal Naval Yacht Club, Portsmouth Grammar School, Portsmouth Cathedral and then finally the Round Tower which is host to artwork by students from lots of local schools.
During the day judges from Portsmouth Guildhall, Aspex Gallery, Art Space Portsmouth and Strong Island will be checking out the artwork and choosing their favourites. These winners will then go in to a special exhibition at the Zodiac Gallery in Portsmouth Guildhall next week.
