Gosport Gallery is currently home to the Matisse Drawing with Scissors exhibition, a Hayward Touring exhibition from Southbank Centre, London on behalf of Arts Council England. The exhibition has dozens of Henri Matisse’s works from his very late years running up to his death and includes some of his most iconic cut out images such as The Snail and his series of Blue Nudes. The exhibition is free and runs until the 20th April and is highly recommended (I’ve visited twice already) and is an incredible opportunity to see a true master’s work so close to home.
You can find out more about the touring exhibition on the Southbank Centre website.
