This exhibition continues to explore the question Aspex is asking, ‘Does Making Things Make Us Human?’ Nest is a showcase of contemporary fine-craft and design.
Nest is an exploration of man-made habitats, exploring our interest in finding or making a comfortable and cosy place to settle down. The work featured explores different aspects of architectural design, whether celebrating the quirky houses found in the English countryside, the high-rises that make up our cities or the huts and yurts found in more distant places.
If you would like to take a piece of the exhibition home with you, all work are for sale! Works priced between £100 and £2000 are available to purchase via the interest free loan scheme Own Art.
Artist involved include Esther Coombs, Holly Ross, Rowena Brown and Susan Jane Dunford.
The exhibition will run until 27th February and can be seen between 11am-4pm.
