Good New Boppers was founded by James Evans back in June. James was posting tracks on SoundCloud and got signed to labels under the name Dr Rex, James then decided to set up his own label, Good News Boppers, which was inspired by street gang film ‘The Warriors’.
The label covers multiple genres, but primarily drum & bass and progressive house, with the belief (shared by myself) of not sticking to just one type of music, but buying from all sorts of genres.
Good News Boppers includes an international roster of signed artists from all over the world, even as far as Mexico. The latest release from Beat Rapist was made a feature on www.trackitdown.net, this honour is normally reserved for the larger labels.
